New Schemes
During June we have secured and commenced works on the following schemes:

Trevor Minns a very experienced Site Manager from MMP Group has decided to join our team in early July. Initially he will be looking after a few small projects but is earmarked to commence works on a £800K design & build office building in Barnard Castle towards the end of the summer.
Company News (June 2006)
We have continued our success from our first year's trading by achieving a turnover of in excess of £2.5m for the first six months of this year. This sets us on target to achieving our medium term forecast of a maintained an annual turnover of around £5m.
We are currently purchasing land at South Church Enterprise Park in Bishop Auckland for our new offices. Once the purchase has gone through we expect to commence works on site in September and complete by and move in early next year.

Completed Schemes
We completed the Techno Cafe at the University of Durham (£180K) within the shortened timescale (reduced by 4 weeks) and five days ahead of the University's drop dead date. The revolutionary and state of the art facility was designed by PhP Architects to enable students to work on, share and develop IT based projects and is the first of many similar facilities which the University hope to develop over the next few years to ensure that they provide the best possible facilities for their future students.
Company News (January 2006)
At the start of the year the National Federation of Builders (NFB) confirmed that we have been accepted for full membership to Federation. Our membership will help us to improve our professional approach, increase the range of support that we can offer to our clients, help us keep up to date with new legislation, introduce us to new methods of construction, etc. Overall we expect that the NFB will help us to improve our overall service.

Again we have strengthened our management team to ensure that we can continue to give a high level of service to our clients, employees, consultants and sub-contractors. In January Gary Atkinson formerly from MMP joins our company as an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor. This dual role will allow Gary to gain more on site experience which will be invaluable for his degree course and will strengthen his overall knowledge of the industry.
